About River

This 6-foot fae is a force: a rogue, a deviant- the Bump-n-Grind in the Night. A dancer, painter, costumer, stripteuse, cryptid, muse, and more.   Performing and producing burlesque for 10 years, from comedy to classic bump-n-grind to brutal metal & rock themes, River adds spice and often laughter to any stage. Her diverse range allows her to shapeshift from the lascivious to ludicrous, whether in heels or clawed paws she does not disappoint! 

River got her start as the founding producer of Gainesville’s first variety troupe and a member of its first Neo-Burlesque troupe. Her contributions to Central Florida burlesque are alive and well in the longest running solo production in Gainesville, now known as Sally B’s Dashing Revue. Securing a job as one of the acclaimed Gogo dancers at world-famous Ybor City nightclub The Castle, River has designed looks and danced for such events as The Royal Masquerade, Endless Nights Vampire Ball, The Steampunk Ball, and more. Resident Cabaret producer at Spookeasy Lounge, her popular variety show The Graveyard runs twice a month. As a solo performer, River has been a guest performer all over the country, from Seattle to Las Vegas to Miami!
